I was thinking if you try the save in a new folder, you could test if the yellow eyes show up. They may not with it being a fresh-new folder.

If they are found not to show up in the new folder, but still there in the old folder, it maybe something in the old folder keeping that option.

I'd help try to troubleshoot the issue, but I don't know what steps to take to try to recreate the issue.

If so, how can it be deleted? I can try anew game, but if I put the current save into anew game folder, would the yellow eyes show up? This is unfamiliar territory for me.

All I did to create the "issue" to begin with was to create a sim in CAS w/yellow eyes and white hair. I'll try a new folder and see what happens.

Ah okay. Though it's your adopted kids that are getting the yellow eyes I thought I read? That maybe harder to reproduce.

I just thought of something the game maybe getting the option from though. When you create a Sim do you save your eye/hair colors? If so, it may be picking from that?

If you think that might be part of the issue. You can delete the

userPresets.package file which can be found inside your documents\Sims 3 folder.

It won't delete your CC patterns. Just the colors/textures you've saved while in CAS and CASt. If you'd rather, you can cut and paste it to your desktop.

Oh! I think you just answered a question I didn't realize I had. When I go to color something, I save it but next time I go back, it's not there. Is that because I delete the userpreset pkg?

If you do a lot of recoloring of the objects/items etc and save the textures and colors in create a style, but then delete your userPresets.package. Yes the saved textures/colors won't be there.

I usually don't delete the userPresets.package unless it gets to be around 100kb or more. As it will make my computer lag quite a bit.

I always delete UserPresets - daily. What little I customize, I can easily recreate. I also remember a lot of color codes off the top of my head.

Mrs Flynn, I did not save the eye or hair color. Yes, my adopted kids are getting them. I'll try the new folder method. I actually have very few user presets.
