Suggested CC List ~ Share Your Favorites!!
« on: December 08, 2020, 11:40:28 AM »
Hi!

I'm curious about what custom content (CC) you all use if any.

Maybe we can inspire each other?

It can be anything from favored Build/Buy objects and patterns to CAS items.

As long as it is not breaking the posting rules of the forum, naturally.

 TS2 > TS3 Functional Sewing table [BETA V2.0.0]
https://modthesims.info/d/643837

Direct Download Link:
https://chii.modthesims.info/getfile.php?file=1946705

Find it in-game:
Buy > Entertainment > Hobbies & Skills - Mechanical Stitching Machine by Antique Artifacts
= § 1,250

✽ We have a Help thread - here for the sewing machine. Take a look ifin you're stuck on something. :)

  ----------

Reported issue with fix: (Invisible Machine)

Texture detail needs to be changed.

From whatever your setting is, set Texture Details to low. After change, game must be restarted. Save, quit and relaunch the game.

Change the setting back to what you had before. This should "reset" the machine's texture and shouldn't be invisible anymore.

If having any other issues, please check with the creator's thread about the sewing machine. Though if I can help I will. :)

This is really cool! I loved the sewing machine and also the potter's wheel in TS2.

I shop daily on TSR. I seem to spend more time shopping that I do playing/building. I am working on a project now and looking for specific items but I've downloaded so much CC that I can't find the piece I need. Very frustration. I also accidently deleted many of my items the other day and have to track them down again.
Some of my favorites are:
Cashcraft for misc items,
Kardofe - building and furniture,
Mutske for doors/windows,
and if Craftsman style is your thing, check out this website - https://www.b-5studio.com/. He's done a series of referencing an area of Atlanta called Grand Park. It you're into vintage, this one will be of interest. He also has a lot of other very cool stuff on the website including art and rugs.

I'm familiar w/Cashcraft from TS2. I didn't know she created things for TS3. I love some of Mutske's things, especially patterns. I'm a real sucker for patterns, lol.

I knew of PralineSims Thanks to Mpart *Snicker* and the name RustyNails seems familiar too, but not those pages of dresses/outfits.

Jumping down a cc rabbit hole. Wha-hooo!!

I'm just glad I'm not into the whole wardrobe thing. Those dresses are gorgeous.
