Love your version of the town. Maybe at some point you can share the save file? I'd love to play in it.

I don't mind sharing though there is so much CC you'd have to do your own decorating. You might end up with a lot of cow plants and mounted fish. :D

Let me go through it build by build to see how much damage was done and clean it up a bit. That weird rose trellis is everywhere. :D

Or, I could just unfurnish everything. That might make the most sense. Not everything is furnished anyway.

I just want to give my head a good shake to see if all the marbles fall back into place but that would just end up making me dizzier than I already am.  :D Someone told me the other day that they were happy to see me looking so normal. My response was "Oh-oh. I've never been normal so I don't know how that looks. :D

Like the guy who goes to the doc to get a broken hand fixed and asks if he'll be able to play the piano. Doc says "probably". Guy says "Good. I couldn't before." :D

I know. Too early for dumb jokes. I haven't even had my coffee yet.

I put so much work into my apothecary and now it's full of small ivy and obelisk vine.

It's such a complete mess that it would be almost impossible to sort out due to all the CC. I can't wrap my head around how it would work. I guess the only thing I can do is share it and see what happens.  You might want to wait until you have your new desktop though. :D

Much of the main components of the builds is CC - roofs/doors/windows, etc. I can post screenshots on my blog so that you can compare.

My Pet Peeves!!

Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling through the furnishings/decor catalog trying to find one thing among the tons of tiny thumbnails thatI know is there because I saw it when I was looking for something else. I'm burning out my brain and my eyes.

Pet Peeve #2 - swing/drag/bounce in build mode.  :o

It couldn't possibly be that my RV is too big and too cluttered. (sarcasm)

It looks to me that the CC lighting was replaced by the vines in your apothecary. You're right, there might be too much CC for me to correct. (sigh) I'll just have to live vicariously through your blog. As for the constant scrolling and squinting at tiny thumbnails, I think there's a mod that creates a search bar where you can type in a word, and if the word is anywhere in the name or description, it will filter those things and narrow down your searching. Here's a video about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ooMB5Jt1kk

It never occurred to me that the lighting might be the culpret. I thought it was the windows.

MrsFlynn forwarded that link for the catalog search a few days ago. I haven't downloaded it yet because there was mention on the MTS site (I think) that there might be a better one coming soon.
I'm noot sure that mod would even help me that much because even though I know exactly where to find what I'm looking, because I have so much content, I don't think it would be able to pinpoint exactly what I'm looking for. / I had downloaded a glass divider that went missing and was replaced by in the game with  that vines thing.
I knew it was in furnishings/decor because I had just seen it a few minutes earlier when I was looking for something else. I'm not in the game at the moment so I can't try it but I don't know if "glass divider" would be specific enough.

As to the Riverview save file. Yes, there would be a lot of missing CC but I don't know that it would change the basic layout.
I think all the buildings would still be there and you could use it as a guidline to redesign them to your own taste.  If you had questions about a specific object in a screenshot, I would direct you to the CC. Most of it comes from TSR.

I tried the mod for the object search and it works well if you are specific enough. For example, the other day I was looking for a glass panel or divider. I knew it was in furnishings/decor because I had seen it there but when I searched for panel or divider, it showed me a room divider screen but not the glass panel I was looking for. I knew the description for it was "separator" and it came up when I searched for that word.

It did find a couple of my favorite pieces - teapot lamp (but you had to be in Lighting) and my favorite Cashcraft rooster that is in all my kitchens came up with "rooster".
Another favorite is a basket with blue marbles in it but I coldn't make that come up. Luckily I know where to find it.

So it works but it's not magic. There is supposed to be a better one coming so we'll see.
