Description:Lapaige gave us a new build challenge (
here) based on one she had participated in. It was to build a shell that could be used for a house or community lot.
I rotated and flip the shell after I built the original layout, drew the walls in and then ultimately completely spaced rule #1. - Keep the outer walls the same dimensions as what's originally in the screenshot. As you can see in the above screenshots of the house, there is an indented wall at the back of the house behind the stairs. lol I felt bad, but didn't really want to edit the house anymore. Thankfully, she was okay with my mistake.
There's 4 rooms on the main floor, two small rooms and a small bathroom could be made upstairs if desired. The basement is wide open. It could be used for some more bedrooms and skilling/game room. Great for a big family!! It can be place on a larger lot if more outdoor room is desired.
I did add 1 piece of custom content, a stair railing from
Mutske - Matching Railing Farm Country. Used on the front, side and back stairs. However it didn't get added to the download. Sorry about that.
You get both the unfurnished and partially furnished home in one zip file.

Installation:The lot is in .package format, and need to be placed in the Sims 3 Library folder.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library
It can be found in-game in the Empty Houses library tab.
The custom content needs to be installed to:
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder
✽ Depending on how you have your mods folder setup.
