Oh I believe that. I just don't know if that's what I was experiencing or not.

I think I mis-read your post. You mentioned something about extra days off. Was it more than the official days off that your sim had? I've never had that happen in a RH job.

Btw, about all the bugs an glitches and stuff, when TSR's forum was very active, there was one lady who posted whose boyfriend worked for EA. She said "you don't want to work there!!" It sounds like a white collar sweat shop where all the powers that be who run the company care about nothing, but profit. :(  I used to play a single player game called 1602 AD and there were a few sequels to it. The original parent company who made the game was going to sell it to EA, but many of the players said "noooooooooooooo!!!!! Not them!!!!! They'll ruin it!" I guess EA has quite the reputation!

You know now that I am thinking on it more, I think it was more than the official days off. I'd be watching the work week schedule and for example it would indicate that my Sim goes to work on Wed. Then around Tues the game would hiccup and give one or two more days off.

I don't think I've ever had that happen. I'm trying to test out that career now. I made a sim for it and called him "Master Criminal" LOL He was in my premade sims and must have d/led him or something b/c his beginning outfit is very different than the usual.

Ok, have to head out now. Gotta be at the clinic w/him very early tomorrow, then we have a nurse coming over a bit later. It's been a steady stream of nurses, physical therapists, and dr visits.

So far, his days off are normal and the game has not added any extras. What lev was your sim when this happened?

If I remember correctly, it started around lv 4 or 5.

I tried to take a day off to try to get the system to correct itself and that worked for a bit. It glitched again later throwing off the work days.

If you don't mind "cheating" a little, you can disable maternity leave. You can also turn off days off for holidays. I totally hate the maternity leave, especially on jobs where they work only a few days a week.

You need to use MC to remove days off. W/your sim active, MC>Intermediate>Career>Days off, then either add days or subtract days, I don't remember atm. It's been a little while. This is in addition to having maternity leave set to false in SP under pregnancy options. Also set Maximum Maternity Leave to something like -5 in the same section.

I worked on it a little bit tonight and the promotion after midnight bug is still there. I also discovered he has to work the entire shift to keep from getting the negative performance. As you can see,it is his day off  and he has the "missing work" notice. I also kept watch on his days off and so far at lev 5 nothing has happened like you describe.
