She's lovely.
I use my laptop on my lap so the fan cools me as well. But I do have other fans. I think today I'm going to need wet towels. It's supposed to go to 35C today (95F). It's gorgeous at the moment.

Yikes. We had local record-breaking temps in Denmark last week at around 35C. I was extremely uncomfortable :(

Last year was worse, so far. I was able to keep reasonably cool with fans and damp towels around my neck, and on my chest/stomach and thighs.
This year I have a new fan that will hold ice packs. I'm using it now and I can't see where the ice is making much difference. It's now up to 31 but I don't feel I need the towels yet.

Princess Hannah, first heir(ess) to the throne, has now graduated and become a young adult. She is preggo, naturally, but the partner I had planned for her is still a toddler, so I had to pick someone else to father her children. There is room for two more in the house, so it is going to be twins at max ::)


Harlan in front is insane and making fun of himself. And yes, he is family.
Quinn, also family, to the left is thinking *I don't know you, dude*
Hannah with her youngest sibling, Shayan, in the back doesn't know what to think.


*I have two Appaloosa Plains saves. I made a new one yesterday that I mean to use to carefully get all existing Alvis properly "registered" in a notepad, added to the family tree, zipped up and saved. The first one is for actual play which means active story progression, aging on long lifespan, spontaneous and immoral fun - my kind of gaming fun. I so, so need this to also enjoy myself when I get overwhelmed with all the dry stuff.

Dear Diary, July 28th (2022)

I am playing with a brand new save with VJ and Miraj in Twinbrook today. Needed a diversion. Aging and SP is disabled here at the beginning, because I need to de-stress. I only play with Basegame, World Adventures, and Ambitions (of course).

Currently, they (VJ and Miraj) are at the library learning things, as they are both fresh out of the nest in Sunset Valley. They live in the swamp like originally in my old Twinbrook story. I chose to delete that old save, as I wanted to start anew. Which reminds me that I need to add a certain MrsFlynn dolly.


Here is my Alvi brothers' information:

Dear Diary, July 29 (2022)



We decided to stop by the Jones-Brown family and help pick a name for Jenni's newborn girl. We decided on Trudy.


Of course, the washer croaks the first time we use it. Guess it wanted to join the swamp choir.


I guess we are sometimes...cross dressers? According to the clothes line at least.


Good thing we aren't completely helpless. We can't be out here in the swamp. DIY for the win. Ugh, what a mess.


We live in the middle of nowhere, and our house is named Nothin' but Deck.


VJ has upgraded everything in the house, so it won't break or catch on fire. Good boy...truth be told, I think he was just bored. Also, we got us some books, as you can see.


From one of our visits into town. This is city hall, and the lady in purple is Miss Yasmine. Apparently, we each had a kid with her in an alternate dimension and somehow, they found their way here.


Mister Kingpin, Dennis the Safecracker. Of the large and shady Racket family. They live in the expensive part of town, and everybody knows to stay out of their way. But I hear they are not all bad.


Never did figure out what was wrong with Harwood Clay that day...
