Errm... Not sure. She's from a family in the household library, https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Family_bin.

Ah, her name is Malika Williams - https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Williams_family_(family_bin).

The other two families I added to my save are:

Week 2-Day 1

I kept forgetting to take screenshots so the ones I have aren't great.

Debbie zipped through the 3 day w/e by working on her skills and keeping her social and fun topped up.

She went back to the glass studio where she produced a beautiful dragon's egg (which is still in her backpack)

Therese is her usual feisty self and after she was fed, changed and cuddled, wandered off outside again in the rain. She's a wild child. Her favorite place is inside the toybox.

Little Joey Bruno plays with the toys, scooted around in the walker, talked to himself in the playpen and now he's taken his first steps.

Then there's little Korry Moore. He seems happy enough and will scoot around in the walker but he doesn't play with toys, or crawl or try to stand up. He eats, either in the high chair or takes a bottle on the floor. He gets pretty stinky and has a bit of a temper tantrum if he's not changed quickly (whole family are redheads - that could be why). What's odd is that other than the cuddling, tickling, etc, I don't have the option to teach him to walk or talk.
I wonder if it's because he's part of a family that I've created and not spawned by the game.

Anyway, the day ended and the tots got sent home all feeling great so it was a successful day.

Week 2 - Day 2

The day went well again. Everyone went home happy even though Korry's daddy was late.
Debbie got a promotion and tomorrow gets a new little one. This could get challenging and I might have to hire an assistant. :D

Started off rocky when Therese thew a little tantrum and tossed her food on the floor because she was stinky.

She loves that activity table and Korry obviously likes the swing. I might need to get 4 of them!

Korry is bonding with the bear.

Waiting for daddy. He's late.

Played through a few days, with a great report. Still got Friday this week. I might take out that (Work Fridays) mod.

It's not that I don't know the value of time off. It's more that I wanted to get to learn more of the routine of the career. With having Seasons installed, it throws a monkey wrench into the work week by making Thurs a holiday. Depending on how long the season lengths are set for. I have read they can end up being on Friday in some cases.

With that I thought it would be good to try the game with Seasons disabled. That got rid of the holidays!! :) I like that I've learned the routine, but am missing the festivals and the change of seasons.  I think I'll wait to re-enable Seasons though, at least for now.

Here are a few screenshots from the last few work-days.

Sam playing in the toybox.  Vanessa holding a fussy Malika.

Malika playing in the toybox a few hours later.

Vanessa playing with Sandi in the Swing.

Later, Sandi spotted snoozing in the Swing. :)

I did notice now that I've got 4 toddlers I have to keep an eye more on my main daycare Sim (Vanessa) to make sure she looks after some of the tots.  I expect to do that with Aria, as she's the helper Sim, but not with the main daycare Sim.

I kind of feel it takes all of us, Vanessa, Aria and me to take care of the toddlers to keep em happy, entertained, fed and clean. lol

I never think about uninstalling random EPs. That seems like a lot of bother but maybe it's different through Steam. But then I'm also klutzy enough that I could end up messing up something else.  ::) I just go into options and make summer really long and the rest only a couple of days. I've also turned off all the weather events except for rain which it seems to be doing a lot lately. But, I'm happy to be having fall at the moment, as short as it is, because I got some beautiful screenshots this morning. :D

It's that time. Time for tea and chocolate digestives.

I wouldn't recommend disabling eps/sps if you're not familiar with the install/uninstall process works in Steam, as there's a specific way to do it. There's many how-tos, but it is easy to mess things if you're not familiar with what you need to do.

It's relatively easy to disable expansions/stuff packs via disc and the Origin/EA app. With the disc version you need a mod from MTS to help with disabling expansions. Sim Game Selector 3.0 - https://modthesims.info/d/499140

With the Origin/EA App, a pack selector is built-in to the Sims 3 Launcher.

Regardless of all of that, it's not about changing the Season length in the game options. Tried that and it didn't turn off the holidays.

You can turn off Holidays with Nraas Tempest from what I've read, but at the moment I'm trying not to add more mods to my game than I have to. At least right now it seems like over-kill to add Tempest just to do one thing... Though I might consider it later.

I always play with weather off because the flickering of the thunder bothers me and when I've had rain/snow turned on it would rain/snow for days and get to be bothersome and lag my computer more so that it already does.

I have no intention of turning off any EPs so there's no need to find the mod for me, but thank you anyway.  ;D

Week 2 - Day 3 & 4- can't post screenshots at the moment because imgbb seems to be down. I'll post pix when it comes back up.

I moved my daycare house to a different lot with the fear that I'd lose everything, but it's all ok. Whew.

I now have four littles. I have the regulars, Therese and Korry but I don't have Joey anymore. I now have Tad and another little girl whose name I've forgotten already. :D I was able to manage solo for now but I don't know if I could handle any more kids. How many do they give you anyway???

The day went pretty well with everyone except Korry having a "great" day. Korry was a little moody because he was only having a little bit of fun. I was just about to play with him when the day ended.

There was a very cute moment when he and Therese connected. She sat down in front of him and started interracting with him and the next thing you know, first he's crawling and then walking. He hadn't done any of that before so that's good.

Day 4 went great. Everyone ended the day happy. Time for some social life.

Daycare Career levels, according to SimsWiki: https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Daycare

Lv.1 - Amateur Babysitter = 2 toddlers
Lv.2 - Cool Caregiver = 3 toddlers
Lv.3 - Daycare Dynamo = 4 toddlers
Lv.4 - Good Guardian = 5 kids* (4 toddlers 1 kid)
Lv.5 - Daycare Specialist = 6 Kids* (4 toddlers 2 kids)

This could include a mix of toddlers and kids and will include weekend work.

Thank you for having me look that up. I've been meaning to put that in my personal notes.  I haven't played yet today.

Great. Just because Debbie was all set to go out and enjoy her weekend, she got sick.  ::)
