Sipping Tea...

We woke up to some slushy snow this morning. I was a little worried, but it's raining as well. The forecast calls for rain off and on through next week and warming up.

I don't think it's been that cold around here in a really long time.  It's nice to warm up a bit. Trying to decide if it's time to put away the heavier blankets or not. lol

Anyone got some hot tea and cookies?

I was thinking of you guys today and was going to check in but you beat me to it.
It sure is soggy around here. Snow is almost gone thanks again to torrential rains. We have another "Atmospheric River" going on so not wanting to go anywhere, I've been entertaining myself with jig-saw puzzles. I played around with one of my sims last night for a while but then I got tired and went to bed. Not feeling too great today for some reason. Lots of sneezing but with everything that's happening with Covid, everything becomes a potential symptom.

Hot tea and cookies (shortbread) happening as we speak...err...type.

It's been all sinusy over here too. I was in bed pretty much all day yesterday with what felt like a sinus headache. Today it's a little better, still sinusy, but I'm kinda up and around.

I've been playing Sims a little. Built a cute house and got stuck on giving it a name.  That hasn't happened in a long time.  I did eventually come up with a name.

Hot tea and short bread cookies.. Yum!!

I'm feeling better but the weather has changed so that's probably why. No rain today!! Yay! It sure was gloomy until this afternoon. Just had dinner and I feel some tea and shortbread coming on. I only have 2 left and a tiny bit of pumpkin bread. That's the last of my Christmas goodies. I still have some pumpkin and tart shells in the freezer but I'll try to ignore them for a couple of months.

I'm feeling better today as well. It was a rainy morning, but that's okay. I think I'll take the rain over the really cold temps. It's nice to listen to the rain sounds.

I hope we've seen the last of the cold for this year. Enough is enough.

I don't quite trust that the cold weather is over. Once we get through mid-Feb is when we might be able to put away the heavy blankets. We've had surprise snow storms in Feb. before, so that's why I am still not trusting that it's over.

Aww...I just fell in love with a Sim child. There is nothing special about her, really, but she reminds me of how much I adore Sims kids. She is a fourth generation townie in my wacky Twinbrook, and I was taking her into CAS to give her a decent wardrobe. Her family was hanging out at the Summer Festival in the townsquare.

In Denmark, we are getting quite many days with stormy weather this January. This weekend, some areas will possibly be getting hurricane-like gusts. But the bitter cold seems to be over with at least. I hope.
