Aw that's a bummer. I thought they were able to tend faster. I think fairy dust from the arboretum can help with making plants become harvestable instantly as well.

Awesome. There is still so much that I haven't explored yet in The Sims 3. Makes me happy :)

You guy have been playing much longer than I have and I have no idea whatsoever what I might be missing. I also keep forgetting about some of the mods I have.

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not but in my current save I'm playing a Sim that's a PI as I wanted to test out getting cases solved where there were apartments with elevators involved (Search for Clues/Dust for Prints)

It wasn't working too well in a couple of saves I was previously playing, but did a test with my current save and was able to solve cases w/apartments that have elevators. -- It's easier to solve cases and do cases if you are at least acquaintances with the Sims you're working the case with.

I find myself enjoying that career the more I play it. lol My Sim's a gardener of course. With one of her cases she got a gnome, but had to put him in the family inventory for now. As she kept wanting to kick him.

I know you can't help your Sim from wanting to kick the gnome, but it hurts my heart to see that. I enabled Seasons to be able to play with the gnomes too. *Sigh* And play with the Festivals. My Sim has a thing for skating. :)

Cool that you can get it to work. I haven't tried with elevators and apartments myself. I find that I want to focus on family dynamics these days. I like Twinbrook and Ambitions, but I actually don't really like the professions where you follow the Sim to work. I enjoy the other aspects of the expansion pack though.

I'm not personally a fan of magic/moving gnomes and usually have NRaas Overwatch delete them automatically, should they appear without my consent. By the way, neat Sims will always attempt to stand up kicked over flamingos and gnomes. Miraj taught me this.

I haven't had a gnome appear on my lot without my consent, I don't think. However I have had two gnomes and find they can have baby gnomes if you have a certain pack or packs installed/enabled. Not sure what pack(s) those are but I'm guessing maybe Seasons?

That's good to know that neat Sims will always attempt to stand up kicked over flamingos and gnomes. :)

Ye gods, gnomes can die of old age - they are actually alive.

Yep they can die of old age even if you have aging off and have them put away in the family inventory. :(
